Hey white boy, got an intel refresh for you. Shovel face got picked up a few days ago by some guys claiming to be corpsies. Funny thing was another investigator, name of Seth Franke, was out today and he hadn’t heard anything about that. Says he’s looking into why your friend got attacked. Got a strong feeling that Billy’s taking the big dirt nap somewhere out in the empty. Watch your step, wherever you’re taking them at the moment.

“Hey Ollie, sorry to do this so late.”

“Don’t worry about it, Pete. I’ve already started and I think we’re dealing with a spook here.”

“How so?”

“I can’t absolutely prove it but Seth Franke looks like a fake, a good one. Large amounts of money good.”

“Any way we can trace it back to someone?” Anna asked.

“It’s possible given enough time and data points but I doubt we’ll get enough. The guy is listed as working in the Statistics and Metrics division of OLEX administration. I think it’s a cover for some kind of spook operation because they’ve got crazy ferocious security around their network. I also found data on two other murders the same day. Downloading them to you now.”

“You think they’re related?” Claire asked.

“Afraid so, style looks identical. Your boy was very lucky Stevens and his crew were there.”
